Glass Fusing

Glass fusing is the process of using high temperatures inside a kiln to melt pieces of glass together to form a solid and unbroken piece of glass. 'Art Glass' is the name often given to describe high quality coloured glass designed to be worked in a kiln.

Divine Glass Design uses only tested compatible art glass produced by the major glass manufacturers, such as The Bullseye Glass Company and Spectrum and Uroboros glasses manufactured to the System 96 standard

Sometimes we work with flowing lines in the glass and at other times we prefer more formal geometric designs. The fused pieces can include metals such as gold, platinum, copper and aluminium and a variety of surface finishes including iridescence, lustres enamels and paints.

Using these materials, we handcraft items including platters, bowls, plates, dishes, vases and lamps to your requirements - as well as make beautiful handcrafted jewellery.
