I enjoy experimenting with kiln formed glass, particularly working in 3 dimensions and controlling the shape of the item with temperature control, inclusions and entrapments. I am more attracted to working with strong colours than subtle and prefer works with pleasing aesthetics more so than those which make strong statements.
I particularly enjoy sharing this art with others, sharing their joy and wonderment as they discover what they can do with glass. Working in a studio with people who are doing what they love and want to be there is a real treat - not to mention the studio duck......`Roast’.
