Our Vision: To be the supplier of choice in the Canberra region for
 kiln-formed glass, education and supplies.

Our focus is kiln-formed glass in its various forms – primarily fused glass, slumped glass and glass casting.  We also engage in other glass arts closely associated with kiln-forming processes including jewellery making, leadlighting (or stained glass) and etching with fused glass pieces, as well as kiln-fired painted and printed glass.

In order to be the “supplier of choice” we strive to offer the best combination of range, price, quality and service for art pieces, education and supplies. 

Our range of art pieces is primarily focussed on fused and slumped glass, however our education services and supplies encompass all major kiln-formed glass processes.  Our art pieces are of the highest possible quality.  We do not mass produce products – each item is an individual work of art, nor do we offer inferior products to meet a particular price point or sell studio seconds. We are especially focussed on developing and expanding new warm glass techniques, products and technologies.

We offer an introductory course in glass and glass cutting, and comprehensive courses in kiln-formed glass and leadlighting.  We also offer short courses in specific areas, such as jewellery making, lampwork and bead making and mould making.  The delivery of these courses is very flexible, with courses being available during the day, evening, weekend and intensive courses.  We offer reliable technical advice and assistance on an ongoing basis to clients and studio users.

Our products and services are competitively priced so that our clients do not have to pay more for the convenience of buying locally.  We benchmark our prices against mainstream suppliers in Sydney and Melbourne as well as major supplier websites both in Australia and overseas.  Where we cannot compete on price – or choose not to stock particular items – we assist our clients to acquire those products at the best possible price taking into account exchange rates, freight and taxes.  We have a wide range of items in stock and are able to supply others within a reasonable time frame.   Generally speaking, we only stock products which we have used and tested ourselves.

Quality of service is a key differentiator.  We want to develop a passion within our clients for glass art – whether as purchasers or artists.   

We pride ourselves on developing individual relationships with studio users in order that they may fully develop their potential.
